Improve temperature monitoring across the granular data – meteorological data identifying → high-risk areas Regulating working hours of school & various urban places, creating public drinking water facilities Improving of existing water bodies, indicating vegetation for promoting cool roofs Growing cities – Development plan of Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities area of urban population eg: Naga Vani, Vijayawada town plans with the help of NCLC. Promoting Green Infrastructure: → Use of permeable materials in civic infrastructure is promoted → Building standards to be upgraded to avoid usage of heat-absorbing advanced iron & need steel sheets → Use of insulated radial walls → Rising incidences of heatwaves in India is not of a design concern of more to be addressed urgently.
