Aspirational districts program is led by NITI Ayog in 100 most backward areas to improve their livelihood, standard of living etc.
Role in :-
(A) Enabling balanced growth :-
L these districts are predominantly in states with lower per-capita & development (GB Bihar, MP, UP etc.

L there, focus on underprivileged setting
L SC's, ST's, women, child-malnutrition etc -
L thus, inclusive growth
(B) checking stressed migration:
L ADP has focused on improving in-situ livelihood generation (G) SHG's forming agri-related processing → their, poverty unemployment ↓ steps induced migration
L development of social resources (eg healthcare, education, sanitation, asset smuggling autos back-off facilities
Aspirational blocks program :-
L 9f builds on ADP by extending the same framework to much lower level → block level
L thus, greater focus on lower level needs in area: Thus, within a district → balanced development can be ensured.
