The federalism in India is founded on the principle of accommodating diversity while ensuring national unity. However, the current structure needs more flexibility to address regional aspirations without compromising national integration.

Points to discuss:

Inter state → proper demands must be addressed, inclusive development

Intra state → Resolution of legal disputes (e.g.) Borders issues, river water disputes

National level → ensuring national integration, no majoritarian approach

International level → Global issues vs Global reforms, multilateral institutions

Different genres with different demands suggest colours of the painting called India, the stroke of equitable development can ensure they complement each other.
